Silhouettes
A silhouette picture has a subject between the camera and a source of light making the subject appear dark or black. A silhouette shows the outline of a subject, not all the details in the subject. The background in the photo is bright so that the object or person is dark. To take a picture of a silhouette outside, a good light source is the sun. Silhouettes taken outside look great against a sunset or sunrise. If a silhouette photo is taken inside, the subject can be up against a window in daylight. Then you focus on the light around the object and take the picture.
